Installation instructions for the X3 small mill kit. |

| WARNING: There are sharp edges all over the X3 mill, caution should be used at all times. You may want to wear protective gloves. | |
| Step1 | Raise the Spindle head to about 1" from it highest position, and lock in place with the gib lock. |
| Step2 | Remove all hand wheels and dials. |
| Step3 | Remove the bearing housings from the X & Y axis. Remove the end plate on the left hand end of the table. |
| Step4 | Loosen all gib screws on the table, and saddle. Slide the table off the saddle. Be carefull not to cut yourself on the sharp edges of the table's dovetales. Remove the saddle. Remove the Y-axis leadscrew block, it is held by two cap screw that can be accessed from the underside of the mill. Remove the X-axis leadscrew block. |
